Mat based classes & Accessible Chair Yoga classes
Rooted in tradition, nature and the cycles of life my classes are a blend of traditional Hatha Yoga practices, gentle mixed movement flows and somatic practices that bring your awareness deeper into the body.
As well as movement you’ll experience guided relaxation, pranayama or breath work and mantra or intention . Classes are often set around a theme which is continued over the month so it can be fully embodied.
Taking the time to become quieter in the mind and reconnect to the deeper parts of being has never been so needed in our busy world.
My hope is that you will leave feeling more grounded, present and connected. I look forward to welcoming you.

Guided by the cycles of nature, life and my own practice my classes are invitation to turn up exactly as you are and listen to the wisdom of your own body without feeling the need for comparison of another. We are each unique and have all lived very different lives.
What to expect
In the chair or on the mat, I will endeavor to support you in your practice offering modifications where possible.
Whether you're new to Yoga or deepening an existing practice, I always encourage you to explore and honor your own pace, listening to what your own body needs the most.
I encourage you to wear comfortable clothes that you can move easily in, bring a drink and your own blanket for warmth during relaxation.
Your own mat may be required depending on location but this will be specified when booking.
My classes emphasise accessibility and compassion. I believe yoga is for everybody and every-body can experience the benefits of Yoga.
It is the biggest misconception that you need to be flexible in your body to join a yoga class, the only part of you that needs to be flexible in a class is your mind. Showing up is the very first step, and I look forward to welcoming you.

The LV chair yoga method that I teach offers many variations to suit all bodies and aims to be inclusive and accessible.
The chair is used as a support and an extension of your body in your practice.
Movements and practices are adapted to suit you with variations given throughout.
Whether you are looking to maintain your levels of strength and flexibility, or build more of both - movement is medicine, so why not come and join us!
