A Gentle Approach to Wellbeing
Therapeutic yoga offers a compassionate and personalised way to support individuals living with physical, emotional or mental health challenges. It's not about perfect poses, it's about creating a space where people feel safe, supported, and connected.
Whether you're part of a charity, support group, health service, or community organisation, these sessions can be a valuable way to help people pause, breathe, and feel more grounded in themselves.
A few years ago my friend and fellow yoga therapist Georgina set up her social enterprise - Health Through Yoga CIC. Most recently and into the future Down to Earth Yoga will be supporting Georgina in her work through the CIC here in Suffolk.
Our aim together is to support as many people as possible towards better health and wellbeing through yoga. By partnering with Georgina and supporting her in future CIC projects we are able to bring short courses, yoga therapy sessions, workshops and community offerings into two counties, Suffolk and Norfolk. We provide education and support through yoga to anyone experiencing physical or mental health challenge’s or financial difficulties, with funding provided by a variety of organisations.

How Can Yoga Support Communities?
MENTAL HEALTH
A therapeutic approach to yoga can support those living with mental health conditions, anxiety, depression, trauma , grief and loss.
PHYSICAL CHALLENGES
Those experiencing physical challenges or conditions such as chronic fatigue , persistent pain, long covid, Neurological conditions, Elderly conditions, Respiratory conditions, Musculoskeletal conditions & Hyper-mobility.
NERVOUS SYSTEM DYSREGULATION
Those who need help to slow down, balance the nervous system, prioritise health and wellbeing to access a deeper connection to self.
Available online or in-person. Suitable for offices, team away days, or private staff groups. Desk or chair yoga options available for accessible, low-impact sessions.
