My Journey INTO YOGA & Training...
Yoga came into my life when I was 30 and in my early years of motherhood. I began a regular practice attending local classes. It wasn't long until I was hooked!
Fast forward a decade and I am still just as passionate about Yoga now as I was then.
In 2019 after a difficult period in life, I began looking for teacher trainings to compliment my existing work and knowledge within health & wellness. I decided to make Yoga a way of life rather than a weekly class and set about searching for a mentorship.
Living on the Suffolk coast at the time and close to Norwich I was incredibly fortunate to find what I was looking for in the heart of the city.
From early 2020 I had and still have the privilege to learn and study with Swami Atma Gyanam Saraswati from The Yoga Tree Studio in Norwich and have completed 2 full years of yoga education, retreats & mentorship with him, including one year dedicated to the ancient and rarely taught teachings of Chakra & Kriya Yoga.
It has been the highest honour to receive Shaktipat and be in the presence of a true modern day Guru both learning & embodying the ancient teachings of the Yoga tradition.
My studies have long since continued as I have explored mantra, sound & kirtan, as well as various courses with Jason Crandell ,well known for his skills & teaching style in anatomy and sequencing. Going forward through 2023-2025 I will be embarking on 2 year long journey into Yoga Therapy with some of the very best leading experts in the UK.
Following a relocation back to the Cornish coast where I grew up I'm really excited to be bringing this into my offerings in the coming years. I'm thrilled to be back here in Cornwall teaching classes locally, offering one to one tuition and holding bespoke workshops, day retreats and offering's both alone & in collaboration with other great health & wellness professionals.

My classes

My classes are a combination of longer held physical postures and elements of flow, they often include a meditation or contemplation, pranayama (breathwork) and a Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep practice) to finish.
Classes are open to all levels. The invitation is to turn up as you are and for a short time to drop the endless to-do list we all acquire in the busyness of life. Taking the time to become quieter in the mind, exploring the physical body and reconnect to the deeper parts of being and our inner landscape.
I draw on inspiration for my classes from the teachings that have been passed down to me, the ancient texts of yoga as well as my surroundings being guided by the cycles of nature.
I take a holistic approach to the offerings I share with you and my hope is that these classes will assist you in the practice of bringing the busy mind into the present moment uniting all that we are in this life.
